The Virus Collection and Preservation System consists of sampling swabs, specimen bags and sample preservation solution.

The sample preservation solution (without guanidine salt) contains virus inactivating agent which can inactivate the virus and nucleic acid stabilization buffer to prot viral nucleic acid from degradation.
